GETTING STEWIE DOWN FROM THE BALLOONS SOUTHEAST EXHIBIT You see a crocodile, a baby hippo, and a mother hippo. The crocodile and the mother hippo are squared off against each other in a hostile manner. It appears to be a standoff. The southeast exhibit shares water with the south exhibit. The gate that would normally separate the two exhibits has been opened. The lever is pushed up. A fence surrounds the exhibit. The center of the zoo is to the northwest. The way is blocked in all of the other directions. >nw ZOO CENTER There are exhibits to the northwest, north, northeast, east, southeast, south, and southwest. The zoo entrance is to the west. >s SOUTH EXHIBIT This exhibit is empty. The south exhibit shares water with the southeast exhibit. The gate that would normally separate the two exhibits has been opened. The lever is pushed up. A fence surrounds the exhibit. The center of the zoo is to the north. The way is blocked in all of the other directions. >wait Time passes... >wait Time passes... >wait Time passes... >wait Time passes... Stewie, holding all five balloons, floats high in the air. He's drifting in this direction. Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Chuck come running here from the zoo center. >throw dart at balloons You throw the yellow dart at the balloons. You pop one of the ballons, and Stewie slowly falls into the water. He lets go of the rest of the balloons and they fly away. He swims to the side and gets out of the exhibit. Stewie has been quite shaken by the experience and is grateful to you for saving him. As a token of his appreciation, he gives you his prized possession, a small cloth sack. Then the zoo keeper arrives on the scene. "Who's the idiot who opened this gate?" he barks. You and the penguins try to look innocent of any wrongdoing, while the zookeeper gets the hippos back where they belong and closes the gate. He tosses the rubber duckie out of the exhibit. You sneak over and take the rubber duckie when you think the zookeeper isn't looking. But during all of the confusion you seem to have lost the penguin feather. The yellow dart is gone from sight. You assume it must be in the exhibit somewhere. You certainly have no intention of trying to retrieve it.
